# Fortres Software Updates

#### Summary

Several pieces of software by Fortres Grand require periodic updates.   These updates come down over the Internet, but the updater program does not authenticate to a proxy properly.

#### Procedure

To add Authentication Exceptions, go to "Website Filtering" > "Authentication Exceptions" > "Add A Site".   Add an entry for:

- update.fortres.com

Once you add that site, go to "Commit Changes" and restart.   Fortres updates should now work.
