How to deal with a name change on an existing account

If one of your users changes their name and you need to create a new e-mail address, while still allowing them to receive e-mail from their old e-mail address, please follow these instructions:

  • Go to Manage Users > Edit User Properties > Locate and pull up their account
  • Change the Last Name and Username information > Save Your Changes
  • Go back to account again and add in the old username as a mail alias (under E-Mail Aliases) > Save your Changes.

Note: Only mail administrators can make the above changes.
