❌ Cannot Send Email #

  • SMTP authentication not enabled
  • Port 465 blocked by firewall
  • Incorrect username/password

❌ Cannot Receive Email #

  • Port 995 blocked
  • SSL not enabled
  • Incorrect username format

❌ Only Some Users Affected #

  • Likely a local firewall issue on those devices
  • Check:
    • Windows Firewall
    • Antivirus software (Symantec, etc.)

Note: Workstations can have multiple firewalls enabled at once.

📌 Best Practices #

  • Always use SSL (Ports 995 & 465)
