Website Routing

Summary #

Since the Load Balancer sends outgoing traffic between two different ISPs, if you’re going to a website that expects to see you coming from a particular IP this could be problematic.  The solution to this we call “Website Routing”.

More Information #

To make sure a particular website always goes out a particular Internet connection, you need to create a “Website Route” for it.  Go to “Website Filtering” -> “Website Routing” -> “Add”.  For “Site/Domain”, enter the base domain for the site you are working with (for example, “amazon.com”, not www.amazon.com.)  For “Public Connection”, choose the IP address of the connection you want it to go out from.  Lastly, click on “Add”.

Once you go to “Commit Changes” and Restart, all traffic for that website will go out that Internet connection.
