WorldMathsDay.com requires a direct connection to the Internet to work correctly. This requires several changes to SecureSchool to be made for you to be able to use WorldMathsDay.com
More Information #
First, go to “Website Filtering” -> “Website Access” -> “Add A Site”, and unfilter “worldmathsday.com” for all of your filter sets. Please note that there is an “S” in “worldmathsday.com”.
Next, you need to create a firewall rules to allow the site to connect directly. Go to “Firewall” -> “Add A Rule”, and make the following rule:
- Type: Allow
- Direction: From Inside
- Protocol: TCP
- Source Address: “0.0.0.0/0”
- Source Port: Leave Blank
- Destination Address: “203.99.142.0/24”
- Destination Port: Leave Blank
Lastly, in your web browser, add “203.99.142.*” as a proxy exception. For example, if you are using Internet Explorer, go to “Tools” ->”Internet Options” ->”Connections” tab -> click “LAN Settings” -> click “Advanced” -> in the “Exceptions” text box, add “203.99.142.*” Note: If you need to do this for all of your computers, and you are using Active Directory, you can setup proxy exceptions in Group Policies in the same place you set proxy settings.
