Summary #

Microsoft SkyDrive servers have problems authenticating through a proxy. Make these change to use SkyDrive.

o get SkyDrive to work you need to unfilter a site and make some authentication exceptions.

1. Go to “Website Filtering” -> “Authentication Exceptions”
2. Add an entry for login.live.com
3. Add an entry for storage.msn.com
4. Add an entry for skyapi.live.net
5. Add an entry for mesh.com
6. Add an entry for d.docs.live.net
7. Add an entry for directory.services.live.com
8. Add an entry for ssw.live.com
9. Add an entry for storage.live.com
10. Add an entry for livefilestore.com
11. On the Authentication Exceptions page, make note of which filter set is being used for filtering Authentication Exceptions (noted in the bright teal box)
12. Go to “Website Filtering” -> “Website Access”
13. Select the filter set that you noted in step 11
14. Go to “Add a Site” and add an entry for “login.live.com”
15. Commit your changes
