Summary #
Microsoft changed the way Internet Explorer is configured when using group policies to control setting like Proxy Server, with the release of Internet Explorer 10 (IE 10). The “Internet Explorer Maintenance” section in Group Policy Editor is no longer available, if the machine you are using has IE10 installed. So you will need to uninstall IE10 and go back to IE9 on a least one workstation or server on you network. You can also install the “Remote Server Administration Tools” on a Windows 7 computer so you can run the Group Policy Management MMC, but again this machine can not have IE10 installed.
