The Report Tools section provides TroubleTrakkerPRO administrators with reporting and analytics features that help track ticket activity, technician performance, problem trends, and labor reporting.
This section is available to Administrators only.
📈 Report Analyzer #
The Report Analyzer allows administrators to analyze ticket activity by technician or by user over a selected date range.
This tool can help identify recurring problem trends, high-volume support categories, technician workload distribution, user support patterns, and overall technician response activity.
Administrators can generate reports By Technician or By User.
- Select either By Technician or By User.
- Select the desired technician or user.
- Select the desired Start Date and End Date.
- Click Perform Analysis.
The generated report displays detailed breakdowns of ticket activity and problem type occurrences within the selected date range.
📉 Activity Chart #
The Activity Chart provides a graphical overview of ticket activity by Problem Type over a selected time period.
This report is useful for identifying frequently reported issues, seasonal support trends, high-volume device categories, and infrastructure or software problem patterns.
- Select the Start Date and End Date.
- Click Generate Chart.
The report displays the Problem Type, total occurrences, percentage of total tickets, and visual activity bars for quick comparison.
⏱️ Time and Cost Reports #
The Time and Cost Reports section allows administrators to generate technician labor reports over a selected date range.
Administrators can generate reports such as:
- Hours worked per ticket
- Hours worked per day
- Average hours worked per day
- Hours and expenses per ticket
- Select one or more technicians.
- Select the desired Start Date.
- Select the Report Duration in days.
- Select the desired Report Type.
- Click Generate Report.
The resulting report displays technician labor information based on the selected criteria.
⚠️ Important Note About Labor Time Tracking #
The Time and Cost Reports rely on technicians entering labor time within their Work Reports using the Start Time and End Time fields.
Organizations planning to use Time and Cost Reports should ensure that technicians are properly trained to enter labor times when completing Work Reports.
